Finding a CAS Number

The CAS number can be found by performing a text search immediately after running the sample. Alternatively, if the NIOSH guide is loaded in the software, then this can also be used to locate a CAS number either following a sample run or by viewing previous results. If the instrument has 3.0 or above HazMatID software, the CAS number can also be found under the [Library Maintenance] tab.
