How do I conduct a bump test on the MultiRAE Pro?
Applies to: Chemical and Gas MultiRAE Pro (PID) | Tickets Solved: 0
RAE Systems recommends periodic bump testing to confirm that the sensors and alarms are functional. Test each sensor with an appropriate test gas in a concentration not less than the sensor’s low alarm settings. To pass, each sensor should go at least to a low alarm in normal mode. A bump test can be accomplished using the steps below: a) Connect the calibration gas to the MultiRAE Pro and start the gas flow. b) Ensure the unit goes into at least a low alarm for each of the tested sensors. c) Turn off the gas flow. d) Remove the calibration gas.
