GasID Capabilities
The GasID can identify gases and vapors released into the air such as opened or leaking cylinders, evaporated Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOCs), off gassing of materials that contain VOCs, and byproducts of chemical reactions. It can also identify organic and inorganic chemicals with covalent bonding such as flammables (Hexanes and Octane), Corrosives (Nitric, sulfuric, Hydrochloric acids), Pesticides, Organic solvents (acetone, etc), Toxic industrial chemicals and materials (TICs and TIMs), and Chemical Warfare Agents (CWAs) (G agents and Sulfur Mustard).
