What to do if you oversaturate the Hapsite ER

While running a method you may see several red lines in the chromatogram on the laptop. This indicates that the unit has oversaturated. In severe cases of oversaturation the mass spectrometer will shutdown.

There are two user level solutions to this problem

  1. Run several blank cbqc runs to see if then unit will clear out on its own.
  2. If the unit does not clear out, perform a column bake out.

Contact technical support for further instruction if a column bake out is needed.
