What gases are used to calibrate the MultiRae Pro?
Applies to: Chemical and Gas MultiRAE Pro (PID) | Tickets Solved: 0
In order for the MultiRAE Pro to be fully operational, all installed sensors must be calibrated with known concentrations of appropriate gases. The default sensors include CO (Carbon Monoxide), VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds; PID), H2S (Hydrogen Sulfide), LEL (Lower Explosive Limit), and O2 (Oxygen). The suggested concentrations of the different calibration gases are as follows:
The CO, H2S, LEL, and O2 calibration gases are available together in one gas can. The Isobutylene must be ordered separately. Also, CO should be calibrated before VOC to avoid cross sensitivity to the CO sensor.
